Panier/Messenger Bag
Project overview: Create a piece specifically for the Foundation student show/exhibition. The theme must encompass sustainability.
This is a waterproof bicycle panier that converts into a messenger bag when detached from the bicycle. It was also the cause of a few sleepless nights as I learned that my cheap Sears sewing machine doesn't like to sew through heavy plastic and 1000 denier cordura. Argh.
My panier/messenger bag was successfully tested during the very rainy autumn months, and I showed it at ECU's foundation exhibition 'Field Notes, On Sustainability.'
