About
Hello!
I'm a 4th-year student at Emily Carr University in Vancouver, Canada. As far as employment goes, I'm a research assistant at ECU, and work at the National Research Council - Institute for Fuel Cell Innovation as a co-op student.
I started my career as a surface designer (like an illustrator, but more fun), but over the past few years I've been able to branch out into new avenues, including interaction and product design. I'm particularly in love with interaction design, and enjoy working with interactive wearable technology, microprocessors, and gestural interfaces.
My dream in life is to produce work that engages the senses, and helps people to lead fuller and more productive lives. I try to make my designs useful and productive, but I'm not satisfied unless my work also includes some element of fun. I really love what I do, and I want my work to tell that story.
If you'd like to learn more about me, check out my blog.
